Cynthia “Cindy” Marie Alusheff, age 65 of Chagrin Falls, passed away peacefully in her sleep July 24th, 2023. She was born August 26th, 1957 in Euclid to the late Charles & Christina Alusheff.
Cindy began her teaching career with the Diocese of Cleveland and retired from the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. She dedicated over thirty-five years of her life to educating children. She was loved by her students and colleagues alike. There will never be a substitute for an exceptional teacher like Ms. Alusheff.
Cindy was the loving companion of Alex Kato; beloved sister of the late Charles “Chuck” (Donna) Alusheff; loving “Teta” of Lauren Alusheff; stepmother of Emily (Joe) Rini; “Baba” of Joey, Millie and Mikey Rini; niece, cousin and friend to many.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 6:00 PM Sunday, July 30th, 2023 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
