Diane Marie Jurick (nee Putney), age 73 of Mentor, peacefully passed away September 26th, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. She was born November 14th, 1949 in Cleveland to the late Osborn and Grace Putney.
Diane worked at Sears Hardware and retired from Levin Furniture where she worked as an office manager. Her greatest job was raising her five children.
Diane loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed watching all her grandchildren play sports and was a devout catholic going to church every Sunday.
Diane was the loving wife for 51 years to the late John J. Jurick Sr.; beloved mother of Lisa M. (James) Baker, Gina M. (Don) Salupo, John J. (Michelle) Jurick Jr., Diane M. Coughlin, Becky M. (Mike) Bauer; dearest grandmother of Christina Baker, Nicole (Dan) Sutter, Amanda Baker, Gianna and Joseph Salupo, Jessica and Jenna Jurick, Riley and Mason Coughlin, Hannah, Hailey, Sophia and Gabriella Bauer; great grandmother of Emmett, Elsie and Jayce; sister of William (Alexis) Putney, Craig (Marianne) Putney, and John (Maria) Putney; sister in law of the late Phillip (Mary Ann) Jurick; aunt and cousin to many.
The Jurick family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, September 28th, 2023 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Holy Redeemer Church, 15712 Kipling Ave., Cleveland. A private burial will be held at a later date at Mentor Cemetery.

Diane and I have been friends for over 50 years.I remember running the streets with John & Diane when she was supposed to be home but she chose to stay out with John.I loved them both and we my oldest and best friends,and we always stayed in touch. She is with John now,and I’m sure he was waiting for her.Rest in pease my old friend’To their family,Im so sorry for your loss.

I worked with Diane at Levin Furniture. She was a truly wonderful person. I remember all her stories of her husband, kids and grand kids. Such a loving and positive person. You will be missed by all
