Richard Ryan Zawacki, age 32 of Madison, unexpectedly passed away at home due to complications of Epilepsy on November 30th, 2023. He was born August 6th, 1991 in Euclid.
Ryan was a talented machinist. He graduated from Madison High School in 2010 and was a member of the Riverside High School Hockey Club. He was a car enthusiast, especially for his VW GTI. He enjoyed the Metroparks, hiking and meditation by the lake. Fellowship and Friend of Bill W. where he was very active. Ryan’s generosity and kindness will never be forgotten.
Ryan was the loving son of Richard S. and Kathleen E. (nee Thorpe) Zawacki; brother of Katelyn (Donald Kosec-fiancé) Zawacki and Reed Zawacki; grandson of the late Wallace and Emily Zawacki and the late Ernest and Margaret Thorpe; nephew and cousin of many.
The Zawacki family will receive family and friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday, December 6th, 2023 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Celebration of Ryan’s Life will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

I’m going to miss my little chats I only met him on Facebook you could tell he had a deep kind soul just for some reason could tell sad I did not meet him in person and I wish I really could have gotten some of his art he was very very talented condolences to his friends and family godspeed Ryan
I was blessed to have met Ryan on a spiritual weekend. He was such a kind soul. He will be missed by all who knew him. May his loved ones find comfort knowing that he touched so many lives.

Gonna miss you man
I have each comment several times. I am his aunt, his dad’s oldest sister. I only saw him on occasion when he was at a larger family function. Because I lived in ATL. and had 2 boys at that time in high schools. Looked so forward to seeing him at wedding. He must have been a sweetheart. I didn’t remember we shared the same birthday. I feel like I know his heart and struggles though.
