Marjorie T. Battisti (nee Cunningham), aged 83, of Novelty, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family in her home, in the early morning hours of July 9th, 2024. She was born November 15, 1940, in Cleveland, to the late Edward and Ethel Cunningham.
Marge enjoyed a long career riding, raising and breeding horses on her family farm, Cedar Fair Arabians Horse Farm.

Battisti Jr., Douglas Battisti, and Barbara (Jason) Taggart; beloved grandmother of Aubrey and Bailey Zanella, Lily, Brendan and Quinn Taggart; sister of Mary Keller; aunt to many nieces and nephews; and devoted caretaker to her loving dogs Tessa and Katie, and many other animals she loved throughout her life.
The Battisti family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, July 26th, 2024 at St. John Funeral Home, 16381 Chillicothe Rd., Bainbridge. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 27th at St. John Funeral Home. Burial to immediately follow at Riverside Cemetery in Novelty.

Marge and I met when I got my first Arabian horse, almost 37 yrs ago.
From the moment I met her, she was warm, embracing, and generous with her incredible amount of knowledge.
We bonded and became friends.
Marge was a loving, giving person who took care of the many animals she loved, but her greatest love was always and forever, her family.
Fiercely loyal, deeply loving; that was her legacy.
My beloved Marge, I am honored to have been your friend.
