Ronald C. Cueni, age 78 of Mentor, passed away September 19th, 2024 at the Mentor Cleveland Clinic surrounded by his family. He was born March 6th, 1946 in Cleveland to the late Victor and Lorna Cueni.

Ron was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Ron was the loving husband of 20 years to Beth Cueni; beloved father of Ryan (Amanda) Cueni, Shannon (Glenn Zeiler) Cueni Beers; Colleen (Jarrett) Cueni Patt, Kristine Gill and Katie Gill; dearest grandfather of Gavin, Diesel, Asher and Violet Cueni, Brayden and Marschall Beers, Kiley, Shane and Kian Patt; brother of the late Thomas (Betsy) Cueni and Debbie Gabriel; uncle of many nieces and nephews.

The Cueni family will receive family and friends from 11:00 – 11:30 AM Wednesday, September 25th, 2024 at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 AM Wednesday at the church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

  2. A beam of light, when the world knocked him down my grandpa kept on getting right back up, leading by example to live life to the fullest. always being active and taking things in a positive light, and the people around him reflected this mentality. We’re gonna miss you a lot grandpa Ron.
