Robert P. Weber, age 66 of Eastlake, formerly of Willowick, passed away February 3rd, 2025 at home surrounded by his family after facing the challenges of ALS with strength and grace. He was born July 2nd, 1958 in Euclid to the late Alfred and Elizabeth Jane Weber.

Bob worked as an engineer for NASA.  He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a former Commander of the Eastlake VFW #3863.

Bob enjoyed music, movies, NASCAR racing and traveling. He most loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He had a wonderful sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew him.

Bob was the loving husband of Colleen Weber (nee Kelley); father of the late Arlee (Dan) Ice; beloved step father of Jordan (Jessica) Vahcic, Justin (Heather) Vahcic, Jeffrey (Candace) Vahcic, Joshua (Nicolette) Vahcic and Joey Vahcic; grandfather of Fallon, Aron, Hayden, Greyson, Judah, Willow, Ellis, Micah, Maxton, Veronica, Brady and Cameron; dearest brother of Michael (Cindy) Weber, Kathy (Pete) Mamone, Carol (Norman) Kvetensky, Debbie Kasapis, Joseph (Sherri) Weber and the late Randy Weber; uncle to many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. He will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

Donations can be made in Bob’s name to The ALS Association Northern Ohio Chapter www.als.org

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Painesville.

  1. It was an honor to be Bob’s Friday night wife of the garage for the last six years. I will forever cherish all the memories that were made with our awesome group of friends and family. You may be gone, Bob, but you will never be forgotten.

    It was such a pleasure knowing Bob over the years; sadly he was taken from us way too soon.
    Admired his strength and determination as he fought one heck of a battle over the years.

    Bob was a friend to my brother, John, and to my friend Colleen. He was always a quick wit, funny, and a good friend. Even when Bob was not well, I felt like Bob was still Bob. You will be missed for all the warm connections you made with everyone and how special you made everyone feel. Including me.❤️
