Dennis L. Poole

3/27/1951 - 7/10/2025

Dennis L. Poole, age 74 of Mentor, passed away July 10th, 2025. He was born March 27, 1951 in Cleveland to the late Glen and Barbara Poole.

Dennis was the loving husband of June Poole (nee Burkett); beloved father of Ashley Taylor, Zach Poole, and Leah (Will) Stribrny; dearest grandfather of Calvin, Julia, and Evelyn; brother of Doug Poole and the late Brian Poole.

Dennis was an avid Cleveland Guardians fan. He enjoyed golfing, cooking for his family, traveling around the world, reading and was an artist. He most loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. 

Dennis worked as a manager at various restaurants in the Lake County area. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced.

Arrangements were entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Painesville.

  3. I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed talking with him. I remember all the fun we had at the Advent indoor beach parties. He brought the tables and made nonalcoholic strawberry daiquiri and piña coladas. I will miss him very much.

  4. I GREATLY enjoyed the 2 days that we spent with Dennis last week. This was my first time to visit with Dennis personally. I never expected that would be my final meeting. May God welcome him home to heaven.

  5. I’m sorry for your loss, Dennis and I went to North High School class of 1969. Met back up with him at Advent Lutheran Church, however I didn’t recognize him at first and when I asked him if he had a brother named Dennis and live in Eastlake, he said that’s me.
