Sharleen A. Rositano (née Morris), age 84 of Mentor, Ohio, passed away on September 22nd, 2025 at home surrounded by her family. She was born February 10th, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Paul and Norene Morris.
Sharleen graduated from Miami University in 1963. She taught kindergarten at Walling’s Road Elementary School in Brecksville, Ohio. Later, her passion for music led her to a career as a piano teacher with several hundred students over more than 40 years. Her influence extended beyond just musical instruction, shaping the character and lives of her students.
Sharleen was actively involved with several churches as a former member of Trinity Baptist Church and a current member of Grace Church in Mentor, Ohio. Sharleen had a zest for life, loved to laugh, and always enjoyed being around friends and family.
Sharleen was the loving wife of Wayne A. Rositano; beloved mother of Wayne P. (Marcella) Rositano, Wendy (John) Burgett, and the late Scott Rositano; cherished grandmother of Aubrey Rositano, Spenser Rositano, Peyton (Alec) Lubas, Alex (Haley) Burgett, Ryan Burgett and Jase (Emilie Miller, fiancée) Burgett; great grandmother of Jackson and Atlas; dearest sister of Paula (Jon) Stevenson and Allen (Vicki, deceased) Morris; aunt to many nieces and nephews.
The Rositano family would like to invite family and friends to a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 26th, 2025 at Grace Church of Mentor, 6883 Reynolds Road, Mentor. A private burial will be held at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
Donations can be made in Sharleen’s name to Grace Church of Mentor.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Painesville.

Sharleen was such a special friend and dearly loved cousin! We grew up loving each other. Family nights with the whole family gathering together were our favorite times! We send our prayers for Wayne and all who loved her. ❤️❤️
