Rosemarie Hannan

6/09/1961 - 3/24/2026

Rosemarie Hannan, age 64 of Painesville, formerly of Wickliffe, passed away March 24, 2026. She was born June 9, 1961, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Mark and Louise Hannan.

A graduate of Notre Dame High School, Rose was a woman of deep faith and a devout Catholic who held a special love for the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God. She found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. You would find her many weekends cooking for and with family. She had a passion for gardening, taking pride in both her vegetable garden and her flowers. People will reminisce about her homemade salsa and pesto for years to come.  On summer days, you would likely find her at the beach, enjoying the warmth of the sun. Above all else, she was deeply devoted to her family, and found her greatest happiness in her role as a grandmother.

Rose was the loving mother of Domenic (Katherine) Gregory, and Sean Gregory; beloved grandmother of Samuel, Aubrey and Lucas; dearest sister of Mark (Genevie) Hannan, Susan (Thomas) Grdina, Jeffrey Hannan, and David Hannan; and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive family and friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 17th, 2026 at St. Gabriel Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge, Concord. A Memorial Mass will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM in the church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Painesville.

  6. Oh what memories we created together! Since 2nd grade, the laughs, the tears, the dreams we shared. Spontaneous road trips to VA Beach and thinking we’d spend Thanksgiving with my family in Canada ‘surprise’! Had to find a Turkey Dinner before we crossed the border. We were each other’s Ride or Die! until life took us on different paths. Save me a seat Rosie & we will show them how to have fun! Rest peacefully until then my BEST FRIEND FOREVER!
