Patrick J. Duffy, age 70 of Mentor, passed away September 23, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at Hospice of The Western Reserve. He was born November 20, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Pat was the Owner of Independent Leasing for 42 years. He wanted to thank all those who allowed him to make a living.
He loved boating, fishing, golfing and most of all, spending time with his family, especially his dearly loved grandchildren.
Pat is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patty (nee Gullo); sons, Dan (Beth) and Jim (Kate); grandchildren, Joey, Morgan, Tony and Abby; siblings, Dodie Ottman, Joleen (Mike) Patete and Jim (Sally); sister-in-law, Judy Oberstar; and his loving and caring nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Eileen; and his beloved brother-in-law, Chickie Ottman.
Funeral Mass 10 AM Friday, September 29, 2017 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor. VISITATION 5-8 PM THURSDAY AT JEFF MONREAL FUNERAL HOME, 6330 CENTER STREET, MENTOR. Burial will be private at a later date.

Our family is so sorry to hear this. Pat was a great husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. Jim and I have great memories of Pat. He was best man at our wedding and there during a time of need. Prayers for family and friends. RIP Pat
Uncle Pat was an amazing man. So very loving and kind. We all have such great memories with him and are saddened by such a loss. RIP Uncle Pat. We love you dearly!
