Angeline “Joy” Want (nee Gliha), age 73 of Cleveland, passed away March 7, 2017 at UH Geauga Medical Center. She was born October 7, 1943 to the late Frank and Angeline Gliha. Angie retired as a chef from the Cleveland Clinic, also worked as a canape maker for Hough Bakery Inc. and a cook for Euclid Provision Meats. She was a member of the Cleveland Bakers and Teamsters Union, Tops Club and Weight Watchers. She was an extraordinary person in every way. Always taking the time to maintain contact with family and friends. She made an impact on everyone she met. The word sacrifice was no stranger to her. Even through her illness, she offered her sacrifice of pain for the salvation of the poor souls in purgatory. Joy would want you to celebrate her life by sending a card to those you love and to stay connected.
She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Want; brothers, Frank (Bernadette) Gliha, Rich (Nancy) Gliha, Tom (Karen) Gliha, Marce (Liz) Gliha and Ray (Monica) Gliha; nieces and nephews, Marce Gliha, Bernadette (Dana) Greenwalt, Heather Michalski, Lee Ann Gliha, Frank (Jessica) Gliha, Vickie (Jason) Lindsey, Holly (Jason) Veeder, Ryan (Jamie) Gliha, Adrienne (Rob) Boehm, Kelly Gliha, Natalie Gliha, Ray (Laura) Gliha, Julia (Lee) Dessecker, Lori (Oscar) Gliha, John (Janet) Gliha, Tim (Nicole) Gliha and Jason (Adriana) Gliha; 24 great nieces and nephews; former sister in law, Donna Gliha; many amazing relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; aunt, Anna Marinshek; niece, Carrie Gliha.
Burial at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at Sts. Robert and William Catholic Church, 367 East 260th Street, Euclid.
Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday at The Abbey, located on the grounds of Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
