Brian D. Lutz, age 63 of Willoughby, passed on the morning of April 5th, 2024 at University Hospital surrounded by his family. Brian entered the world on August 17th, 1960, the fourth of six children to the late Cecil and Jean (née Gleason) Lutz.
Brian was a Lake Catholic High graduate and nearly lifelong resident of Willoughby, treasuring the simple joys of life. Brian could be spotted in front of the tv yelling at a sports game. Brian was a proud Tool & Die Maker for over 35 years. Brian was also a terrible singer, yet this did not stop him from singing along to his favorite tunes. Brian was well known in his community for his 30+ years coaching baseball, softball, volleyball, and basketball with Immaculate Conception Church CYO and the City of Willoughby. What really mattered the most to Brian was being part of his grandchildren’s activities and seeing them thrive.
