Doris Mae White (nee Ryder), age 93 of Mentor, passed away March 31, 2022 at Mentor Ridge. She was born July 4, 1928 in Mentor to the late Mabel and Elmer Ryder.
Doris was a retired school guard for Reynolds Elementary, her most cherished job.
Doris loved the Cleveland Indians and spending time with her family, especially being with children.
Doris is the loving wife for over 70 years to the late Francis N. White Jr.; beloved mother of Marsha (Rick Sr. ) Marthe, Loretta (Forrest) Emerick, Michael White, and the late Kenneth and Dennis White; grandmother of Terry, Greg, Chad and the late Rick Marthe Jr., Danielle Emerick and Randy Emerick; great grandmother of thirteen; great great grandmother of six; sister of Bernice Coon and the late Elaine Bushnell and Betty Sekki; aunt of many.
The White family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 PM Friday, April 8, 2022 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Burial at Mentor Cemetery.
