Goldie “Sue” DiLiberto (nee Takacs), age 95 of Cleveland, peacefully passed away October 5th, 2020 at Euclid General Hospital. She was born May 28th, 1925 in Masury, Ohio to the late John and Susie Takacs.

Sue loved her family and her great grandchildren called her “Grandma Cookie”.

Sue is the loving wife of the late Nathaniel DiLiberto; beloved mother of Mayor Alan (Marylou) DiLiberto, Mayor Dan (Marilyn-deceased) DiLiberto and Robert (Martha) DiLiberto; dearest grandmother of Alana (Andrew) Benedict, Marlo (Doug) Herrmann, Dan (Donna) DiLiberto, Brian (Stephanie) DiLiberto, Heather (Mark) Lavalais, Michael DiLiberto and Christina (Darius “Buddy”) Aktia; cherished great grandmother of many; sister of the late Louis Takacs; cousin of Steven Takacs; aunt of many.

The DiLiberto family will receive friends from 2-5 PM Saturday, October 10th, 2020 at McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center Street, Mentor. A Funeral Service will be held at 5 PM Saturday at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at a later date at Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Hts. Please observe social distancing and bring a mask covering.
