James E. Corrigan, age 79 of Eastlake, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022 at LakeWest Medical Center in Willoughby surrounded by his family. He was born November 27th, 1942 in Cleveland, OH to the late James and Grace Corrigan.

Jim loved camping with his wife and children. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was an eternal jokester.

Jim was the loving husband for 55 years to Carole Corrigan (nee Bayuk); proud father of Jim (Erika) Corrigan, Kay (Rich Zabvinik – fiancé) Ronevich, Jill (Michelle Weck) Corrigan; doting grandfather of Sophia Correck, Alexis Ronevich and Brandon Ronevich; brother of Mary Jane (Bruce) Maitland, Judeanne Kulina and Rosemary Corrigan; uncle to many.

The Corrigan family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Saturday, January 8th, 2022 at St. Mary Of The Assumption, 15519 Holmes Ave., Cleveland. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM on Saturday at the church. A Private burial will be held at a later date at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.

Donations can be made in Jim’s name to the Sisters of Notre Dame Chardon, 13000 Auburn Rd., Chardon, OH 44024.

The family is requesting to wear something Blue in honor of Jim.

Please when greeting the family wear a mask regardless of vaccine status.
