Janet E. Yontz (nee Collins), age 69 of Mentor, passed away April 5, 2022 at LakeWest Medical Center. She was born December 7, 1952 in Cleveland to the late Alexander and Adeline Collins.
Janet was a homemaker. She enjoyed old classic movies, reading, crossword puzzles, her cats and spending time with her family.
Janet is the loving mother of Elizabeth Yontz, Rebecca (Rakim Davis – fiancé) Yontz, Steve (Christina) Yontz and Ariel Yontz; beloved sister of Maureen (Paul) Revelia, Diane Collins, Dave (Judi) Collins, Rosanne (Tom) Aumiller and the late Mark Collins; sister-in-law of Jill Collins; aunt of many.
The Yontz family will receive friends from 3:00 – 6:00 PM Sunday, April 10th, 2022 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at All Souls Cemetery.
