Joni S. Dietz, age 61 of Montville, formerly of Perry, passed away December 20th, 2021 at UH Geauga Medical Center in Chardon with her family by her side. She was born May 31st, 1960 in Euclid, OH to the late Dorothy and Don Cox and she was raised by the late Grant Templin.

Joni was a retired caregiver for various special needs homes. She was an Ohio State Master Gardener.
She enjoyed riding with her loving companion John, birdwatching, and treasured all of God’s great outdoors.

Joni is the loving mother of Adam N. Dietz; wife of the late Christopher Dietz; beloved sister of Darlane (Bob-deceased) Baker, William (Carole) Hawke, Donna (Herm-deceased) Presser and Lorrie (Chuck) Guenther; aunt of many; dearest companion of John Spinda.

The Dietz family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 5th, 2022 at The Abbey, 38011 Euclid Ave., Willoughby (which is located on the grounds of McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home). A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday at The Abbey.
