Kevin S. Schindler, age 29 of Mentor, passed away after a long, hard battle with brain cancer (Grade 4 Glioblastoma) on August 16th, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Kevin worked as an Analyst III at First Energy. He graduated from Mentor High School in 2008. He received his bachelor’s degree at Ohio Wesleyan University in 2012. He played baseball at Mentor High School as well as Ohio Wesleyan University.
Kevin is the loving son of Scott and Debbie (nee Goodwin) Schindler; dearest brother of Angie (Derek) Stalder and Tom Schindler (Holly); loving uncle of Avalynn; nephew, cousin, and friend of many.
The Schindler family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Tuesday, August 20th, 2019 at McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center Street, Mentor. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, August, 21st, 2019 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 9514 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Mentor.
Burial at Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Hts.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kevin’s name to Hospice of The Western Reserve, 300 East 185th Street, Cleveland, OH 44119.
