SERVICE FOR

Marjorie T. Battisti (nee Cunninham)

11/15/1940 - 7/09/2024

Marjorie T. Battisti (nee Cunningham), aged 83, of Novelty, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family in her home, in the early morning hours of July 9th, 2024. She was born November 15, 1940, in Cleveland, to the late Edward and Ethel Cunningham.

Marge enjoyed a long career riding, raising and breeding horses on her family farm, Cedar Fair Arabians Horse Farm.

When she wasn’t riding horses, Marge enjoyed gardening, reading and traveling. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family – especially her five grandchildren.

Marge was the loving wife of the late Robert E. Battisti Sr.; dearest mother of Robert E. Battisti Jr., Douglas Battisti, and Barbara (Jason) Taggart; beloved grandmother of Aubrey and Bailey Zanella, Lily, Brendan and Quinn Taggart; sister of Mary Keller; aunt to many nieces and nephews; and devoted caretaker to her loving dogs Tessa and Katie, and many other animals she loved throughout her life.

The Battisti family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, July 26th, 2024 at St. John Funeral Home, 16381 Chillicothe Rd., Bainbridge. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 27th at St. John Funeral Home. Burial to immediately follow at Riverside Cemetery in Novelty.

Donations to Pet Fix of Northeast Ohio petfixnortheastohio.org are lovingly appreciated.
