Mary G. Johnson (nee Fox), age 94 of Willowick, passed away February 13th, 2025 at home surrounded by her family. She was born May 5th, 1930 in Saint Marys, PA to the late Cornelius and Dorothea Fox.
Mary retired from King Musical Instruments in Eastlake after 20 years of service.
Mary enjoyed line dancing, roller skating, singing in the choir (St. Noel’s), and playing cards in the Pokeno Card Club. She most loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mary was the loving wife of the late Forrest “Gale” Johnson; beloved mother of Gary M. (Annie) Johnson, Terry James (Karen) Johnson, Lawrence Johnson and the late Jackie (James) Wilkinson; dearest grandmother of Matthew (Angela) Wilkinson, Jamie (Gabrial) Snider, Jay Johnson, Jacob (Josh) Johnson, Holly (Dave) Brugh, Taylor (Augusto) Espinosa and Devin (Madison) Johnson; great grandmother of Carter, Addison, Wesley, Flynn, Adrian, Joshua, Aly, Mason and Tyler; sister of the late Jack Fox, Virginia Shinhearl, Lillian Heser, Connie Fox and Joanne Petriella; aunt to many nieces and nephews.
The Johnson family will receive friends from 3:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday, February 19th, 2025 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 20th, 2025 at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
