Richard Joseph Amoroso, age 32 of Wickliffe, formerly of Eastlake, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on January 27th, 2022. He was born September 8th, 1989 to the late Richard and Judy Amoroso.
Ricky was a U.S. Army Iraq/Afghanistan War Veteran where he served in the Fourth Infantry Division. He was a member of Summit for Soldiers and the VFW.
Ricky graduated from Eastlake North High School in 2007 and received his EMT certificate in 2019. He was an adventurous, kindhearted, very sarcastic with a great sense of humor, loving and caring human being. He also enjoyed shooting guns at targets and teaching his nieces and nephews about gun safety. He liked climbing mountains and even attempted to climb Mount Everest. He especially loved spending time with his family.
Ricky is the loving son of the late Richard and Judy Amoroso; beloved brother of Cansas (Steven Kincaid – fiancé) Bucary and Tiffany (Miguel) Amoroso; cherished uncle of Faith, Layla, Josie, Yaritza, Vinny, Omar and Lionel; nephew of Ross Amoroso, Tom (Anne) Grikepelis, Jim Kendro and the late Joseph Amoroso and Joanie Kendro; brother in law of Joe Bucary; grandson of the late Madeline and Joseph Amoroso, Mildred and Anthony Grikepelis; and his loving cat Queen Padme.
The Amoroso family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022 at The Abbey, 38011 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:30 PM Wednesday at The Abbey. Private Burial will be held at All Souls Cemetery.
All donations will go to the Amoroso family to help with funeral and burial costs.
