Zlatko Eller, age 74 of Eastlake, passed away peacefully on September 10th, 2024 at LakeWest Medical Center. He was born June 8th, 1950 in Croatia to the late Antun and Ivka Eller.
Zlatko was a retired machinist who spent many of his days watching sports especially soccer and football. He grew up on a farm in Ljipovjani with his parents and siblings and many cousins nearby. In the USA, he and his family were long time residents of Mentor. Zlatko enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and cousins. He liked sharing stories, food and drink with his family and friends.
Zlatko was the husband of the late Jadranka Eller; father of the late Eddie Eller and Alen Eller; grandfather of Briana and Ryan Eller; brother of Ljerka Soprek and the late Vlado Eller; uncle of Paul (Christina) Soprek and Richard Soprek; grand uncle and cousin to many.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 AM –12:00 Noon on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday at the funeral home. Burial to follow at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
