Amanda “Mandy” Marie Eckertson, age 40, of Chesterland, passed away December 10th, 2025. She was born August 20th, 1985, in Painesville.
Mandy worked as a Member Director at Beechmont Country Club in Orange. She earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Hiram College.
Mandy was an artist where she enjoyed painting, making music, gardening, hiking and beekeeping. She was an advocate for animals and was the best aunt to her nieces and nephew. She had a pure nonjudgmental heart and was accepting of all.
Mandy was the loving daughter of Curt (Julie) Eckertson and Nancy (Bill) Bilger; beloved sister of Carrie (Kip) Mumm, and Maggie (Steven) Kutash; cherished aunt of Josselyn Mumm, Harvey and Sadie Kutash; dear family to Madeline Loiacono, Grace and Austin Eckertson; dearest niece to many aunts and uncles; cousin and friend to many; loving mom to her beloved dogs Lily and Lenny; fiancée of Ken Wetklow.
Amanda’s family will receive family and friends 4:00 – 7:30 PM Thursday, December 18th, 2025 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Memorial Service will follow at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.

Our dear, lovely Maggie. You were always so loving when we spent time together. I’m so glad we had some time at Grandma’s house in 2020. We’ve been looking through our pictures from your visit to California and we love remembering our adventure with your cousins on the Golden Gate Bridge. I was very close with Mandy when we were younger, and she meant a lot to me. I will always remember her kindness, her laughter, and all the fun we shared. Even sweet memories of her and Tucker.
