Bernarda “Nada” Pariza

Bernarda “Nada” Pariza, age 86 of Concord, formerly of Mentor, peacefully passed away December 12th, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. She was born October 13th, 1937 in Lika, Croatia.

Bernarda was a retired seamstress from General Motors/Fisher Body Plant in Euclid.

Bernarda was the loving wife of the late Angelo Pariza; beloved mother of Silvana Pariza, Nancy (Michael) Morrison and Angelo “Braco” (Mary Ann) Pariza; dearest grandmother of Jordan (Rachael) Rapp, Justin (Caitlin) Rapp, Ella and Ethan Pariza; great grandmother of Ava, Wyatt and Caden; sister in law of Marija (Hrvoje–deceased) Tadic and Nada (Branko–deceased) Pariza; aunt of Nicholas Tadic, Edita (Mark) McBride, Jasmina Tadic, Diane Pariza, Lilly (Scott) Davis and the late Branko Pariza.

The Pariza family will receive family and friends from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 16th, 2023 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.

  2. Having grown up one house over, Bernarda was like family.
    My mom who recently passed, I’m sure was there in heaven to greet her good friend.
    It was funny to hear them both talk to each other, as both had heavy accents and came from different cultures, not sure how they understood each other, lol.
    knowing that their both in a better place, free from all confines, pain and suffering brings me great comfort.
    I’m grateful for all the good memories…love you Bernarda and thank you for everything.
