Carol M. Trimboli (nee Kamesis)

Carol M. Trimboli (nee Kamesis), age 86 of Mentor on the Lake, formerly of Eastlake, passed away April 10th, 2025 at Lake West Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born March 9th, 1939 in Cleveland to the late Dr. John and Ann Kamesis.

Carol was retired from the City of Eastlake Senior Center.

Carol was married to Robert, the love of her life, for 49 wonderful years. She was actively involved in various Eastlake city league sports where she enjoyed watching her son. She and her husband were both proud members of the St. Joe’s Oarsman Booster Club during their son’s high school football years. She was happiest when she was with her family. She loved all the family gatherings, holidays, movie nights, trips to the casino and the many wonderful vacations they went on together. She was so proud of her grandchildren/great grandchildren and was such an important part of their lives. She enjoyed being with her sisters and friends. She looked forward to her monthly lunches with her Villa Angela class of 1957 high school buddies.  She loved getting together with her coffee group where they “solved all the problems of the world.” She loved to read. She also enjoyed every minute of her time with her beloved cat, Ella.

Carol was the loving wife to the late Robert R. Trimboli; beloved mother of Ann Dudley, Karen (Jim) Sulecki, Frank Trimboli and Terri (Anthony) Ventura; dearest grandmother of Brandy and Jennifer Dudley, Jimmy (Shan Shan) Sulecki, Jessica Sulecki, Nick (Sydnie – fiancé) Ventura, Dominic Ventura, and the late Brett Sulecki; cherished great grandmother of Tre, James, Cameron, Brooki, Bray and Sofia; sister of Dorothy “Dottie” Hartman, Mary Ellen (Ralph –deceased) Godic; sister in law of Gloria Huber; aunt to many nieces and nephews.

The Trimboli family will receive family and friends from 4:00 –7:00 PM Tuesday, April 15th, 2025 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 16th, 2025 at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor. Burial to follow at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
