Elaine B. Vargo (nee Mulvey), age 57 of Concord Twp, passed away December 2, 2018 at Hospice of the Western Reserve surrounded by her family. She was born February, 27, 1961 in Buffalo, NY to James and Janet Mulvey.
Elaine graduated from Oberlin College with her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry. She was in medical research at the Cleveland Clinic before becoming a full-time mom. She loved God and loved her family greatly.
Elaine is the loving wife for 33 years of Dan Vargo; devoted mother of Mark (Jory) Vargo, Kelly Vargo and Melissa (Nate) Porter; sister of Bridget (Jim) Robertson, James Joseph Mulvey and Tim (Cyndi) Mulvey; aunt of many.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 AM, Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Concord Alliance Church, 7152 Ravenna Rd., Concord Twp, Ohio 44077. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM at the church. Burial will follow at Concord Twp. Cemetery – 11691 Concord Hambden Rd, Painesville, OH 44077.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Parkside Church Lake County or Trinity Bible Church in Lafayette, LA.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Services, 6330 Center Street, Mentor.

We enjoyed attending church with you family. Will always remember how dedicated she was to children’s ministry
She was a blessing to know, and an inspiration to all who knew her. I only wish I had the opportunity to know her better! Heaven is rejoicing for sure!❤

I am so truly sorry for the loss of Elaine. Her picture hasn’t changed much since we we little.girls way back then my heart breaks for your family. Please know you and both families are in my thoughts and prayers .
