Helen L. Galipo, age 83 of Mentor on the Lake, passed away September 12th, 2025 at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland. She was born June 20th, 1942 in Clearfield, Pennsylvania to the late Samuel and Mary Etta Kitchen.
Helen was a loving homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, roses , dancing and music. She most of all loved The Lord Our God and her family.
Helen was the loving wife to the late Carl Galipo; beloved mother of Rick Galipo, Debbie (James) Grief and Tina Galipo; dearest grandmother of Brianna (Damien) Keidel; great grandmother of Cameron and Ashton Keidel.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 17th, 2025 at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland.
Arrangement have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Painesville.

An absolutely wonderful woman. She would watch me after elementary school and pay me to weed her flowerbeds. Which was special to have some pocket money at that age. It was always a treat to go to aunt Helen’s as her home was yours.
I am eternally grateful for this woman that I affectionately called mom. She was the first person to show me who Jesus was.
