James G. Phillips Jr., age 77 of Wickliffe, passed away May 4th, 2025 at Mentor Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born January 29th, 1948 in Cleveland, OH to the late James Sr. and Ruth Phillips.
Jim was a retired spray painter who worked for various painting companies.
Jim was a member of the AFLCIO Union, and ACME Credit Union. He enjoyed watching western tv shows.
Jim was the father of Jeffrey Allen Phillips and Melissa Lynn Phillips; brother of the late Louise E. Phillips and Bobby J. Phillips; uncle to many nieces and nephews.
The Phillips family will receive family and friends from 1:00 -1:30 PM Friday, May 9th, 2025 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 PM Friday at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Mentor Cemetery.
