Larry N. Dallies

8/30/1958 - 11/29/2025

Larry N. Dallies, age 67 of Mentor, passed away November 29th, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was born August 30th, 1958 in New Brighton, Pennsylvania to the late Delbert and Helen Dallies.

Larry worked as an electronic technician, retiring from Cleveland Med.

Larry was a U.S. Airforce Veteran, serving in support of Desert Storm in Colorado Springs and Greece. One of his goals in life was to make at least one person smile per day, such as paying for someone’s cup of coffee that was behind him in line, picking up the grocery bill for someone, or just telling a corny joke. He enjoyed ballroom dancing, traveling, camping, and loved all animals. He especially loved bald eagles and his dog, Cosmo. He most loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.  

Larry was the loving husband of 28 years to Sue J. Dallies (nee Rothman); beloved father of Brenda (Justin) Leikala, Sherie Scott and Marie (Charles) Kalemba; dearest grandfather of Jared Leikala, Evan and Alexander Scott, Carson and Christopher Kalemba; brother of Ernest (Pat) Dallies, Richard (Barb) Dallies, Dennis Dallies, Jerry (Anita) Dallies and the late Sandy Juillerat, Wanda Hazen, Theo Dallies, and Stanley Dallies; uncle to many nieces and nephews.

The Dallies family will receive family and friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday, December 9th, 2025 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, December 9th at the funeral home. Private burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

  4. I enjoyed meeting Larry at Sue and my class reunion some years ago and dancing with them. He made me feel comfortable right from the start. Cherish your good memories, Sue and family.

  5. Larry was my buddy at work. He always told the greatest jokes. I wrote him a motivational sticky note and he kept it on his work station and always told me how much it meant to him. I will miss you, Larry. Your memory will not be forgotten. My deepest condolences to the Dallies family.
