Sherri L. Sakal (nee Kelly), age 62 of Painesville, formerly of Wickliffe, passed away March 10th, 2025 at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland, surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 4th, 1963 in Cleveland, OH to Eleanor and the late Charles Kelly.

Sherri loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Sherri was the loving wife of the late Richard Sakal; beloved mother of Natalie (Brian) Murphy; dearest grandmother of Dylan and Owen Murphy; cherished sister of Julie (Dennis) Falvey, Mark (Crystal) Kelly, Linda (Steven) Bachmann and Brian Kelly; aunt to many nieces and nephews.

All services were private.

Donations can be made in Sherri’s name to Hospice of the Western Reserve www.hospicewr.org

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Painesville.

    Sherri’s sunny disposition, cheerfulness, and attention to her cat Oliver, and her many plants and flowers, are some of the things that I will miss so much. Her thoughtfulness and kindness made her very special. Prayers for comfort to her family on this loss of such a special lady.
