Virginia “Ginny” Giangiacomo (nee Poje), age 80 of Willowick, passed away April 8th, 2026 with her family by her side. She was born June 2nd, 1945 in Cleveland to the late Vincent and Olga Poje.
For more than 30 years, Ginny worked for GMS Management. She valued the friendships and connections she built there. Her dedication, warmth, and loyalty left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of working with her.
Ginny loved animals, working in the yard, and going to the casino. She loved cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Ginny was the loving mother of Deana (Matt) Von Lehmden, Domenick aka “Precious” (Carrie) Giangiacomo, and Tracy (Ryan) Latini; dearest grandma of Noah and Evan Von Lehmden, Alanna and Alexa Giangiacomo, Gianna and Vincent Latini; loving companion of Herb Collins; sister of Judy (John) Meehan; aunt of Kelli (Mark) Milos; loving pet Kit.
Honoring Ginny’s wishes, no services will be held; she simply wanted everyone she loved and who loved her to carry her memory in their hearts.”

Ginny I will miss our great conversation and laughs we had every time were together or on the phone. When we went to see your idol Barry Banilow. What a concert. I will truly Ginny She was a pleasure to work for her and family as a plumber helping her she always made me feel very welcome in her home love all the kitchen smell smells of the sausage and peppers she would be making she helped. Keep me in line with my paperwork and I know everybody’s gonna miss her. God bless her family.
