Wilbur John Crawford Jr., age 65 of Eastlake, passed away March 26th, 2026 at home surrounded by his family. He was born November 10th, 1960 in Cleveland to the late Wilbur John Crawford Sr. and Erma Gean Crawford.

Wilbur worked as a machinist and pipe fitter at Shoreline Industries in Cleveland.

Wilbur was an avid sports fan and Cleveland Indians, Browns and Cavs fan. He enjoyed the outdoors, backpacking and camping.

Wilbur was the loving husband and best friend for 43 years to Patricia Grant Crawford; dearest father of Patricia Rose (Jeff) Hoon, and Krystal Amber (Scott Agner-fiancé) Crawford; cherished grandfather of Ariella Hoon; brother of John (Robin) Crawford, and Linda (Tom) Wiencek; son in law of Patricia Kurt; brother in law of Victoria Wolford and Joanna Schmidt; uncle to many nieces and nephews; loving pet dog Cheeky.

The Crawford family will receive family and friends from 2:00 – 5:00 PM Saturday, April 11th, 2026 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:30 PM Saturday, April 11th at the funeral home.

  3. My heart breaks for Wilbur’s family. I have many memories growing up with him. We would all be at my house playing masterpiece, eating buttered popcorn and pizza .. habits I still enjoy.
