  7. I can truly say she was the most important friend I had in my life. Unconditional love she gave to me. Met her when I was 17, and knew her for 57 years. I look around my house and see so much of her. A blanket she crocheted for me, a cookbook she wrote for me of her favorite recipes when I left Ohio.
No one made better Christmas cookies!
She was one of a kind, a lady with a huge heart.
I’ve always loved her and always will.

  9. Wendy was a loving, caring, genuine woman. A caregiver to anyone who needed her and a giving, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved the outdoors, planting a garden, taking care of her plants and flowers, kayaking, and supporting breast cancer. She will be deeply missed by many but is now at peace.

  13. Wendy is one of the finest people I’ve been blessed to know. She and Tex have been like family to me, the times we shared were many, and well loved. Though I can only guess at the grief Tex is experiencing I believe with all my being that Tex’s life was the fullest it could have been with Wendy by his side. Together they raised two fine offspring, Sara and Lee, who in turn bore offspring that brought happiness to Wendy, and continue to bring joy to Tex. I’ve felt as close to Tex and Wendy as I’ve felt to my own brother and sister over all these years and I will miss her. I believe that she will continue to watch over Tex, Sara, Lee and their brood, as she did during her days here with us.
