Albin “Al” Mayher, age 77 of Willoughby, formerly of Eastlake, passed away peacefully with his beloved family by his side on February 7, 2022. He was born on April 19, 1944 and enjoyed many beautiful memories in life with his hearty laughter, lots of smiles and a fun-loving spirit.

Al has always been an avid reader, especially interested in Hebrew and Native American studies. He loved art, drawing, weightlifting, cheering for his grandchildren at their sporting events, giving his time to others, and appreciating wildlife.
Al is the loving husband of 55 years to Nancy (nee Gibson) Mayher; dearest father of Steven (Lisa) Mayher and Kenneth Mayher; beloved grandfather of Ian, Ariana, and Landen Mayher, whom he cherished; son of the late Andrew and Margaret (nee Pala) Mayher; brother of Darina (Michael) Karwan and Michael (Kathy) Mayher; uncle, cousin and friend of many whom enjoyed his happy, light-hearted approach in life.

“How we cried the day you left us
We gathered ‘round your grave to grieve
Wish I could see the angels faces
When they hear your sweet voice sing!
Go rest high on the mountain,
Son your work on earth is done
Go to heaven a- shoutin’
Love for the Father and the Son,
Rest in the Father and the son.”
I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living, you always will be. Thanks for the memories and being a wonderful chapter in my book of life.❤️
