Andrew “Butch” A. Pikula, age 82 of Eastlake, passed away on December 26th, 2022 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born November 25th, 1940 in Cleveland to the late Andrew and Ann Pikula.

Butch retired from Gould in Eastlake. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and enjoyed coffee, fishing and traveling with his wife. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He went to all his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Butch was the loving husband for 58 years to Joyce Pikula (nee Schneider); dearest father of Stacy (Robert) Barzal and Kim Pikula; beloved grandfather of Joshua, Sydney and Rylee Barzal, Amanda (Kevin) Runyeon, Nicholas (Desiree-fiancée) Pikula and Katie Harris; great grandfather of Aubree, Lainey and Ryleigh; brother in law of Jerry (Joyce) Schneider, David (Peggy-deceased) Schneider and the late William (Jean) Schneider, Robert Schneider and Mary Kay Schneider; uncle to many.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, December 30th at McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday at St. Justin Martyr Church, 35781 Stevens Blvd., Eastlake.

Donations can be made in Butch’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home.

    I’m so very sorry to hear of Butch’s passing. He was a great cousin and showed his kindness to me all of my life. God rest his kind soul. I’m hoping that Joyce is well. She also was very good to me growing up. God bless you all. JPF

    We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Butch. He was a great man.I always enjoyed seeing you and the times we had when the G.E Ladies and husbands got together and when I babysat the girls.He will be missed and you our family will be in our prayers.Marsha Lynne Kosek
