Andrew Dolan, age 92, of Willowick, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on June 28th, 2025. He was born July 21st, 1932 in Glasgow, Scotland to the late Andrew and Agnes Dolan.

Andy was a U.S. Army Veteran. He took great pride in being a Union Painter whose murals were found in courthouses, city buildings and billboards across Cuyahoga County. His artistic soul carried beyond his work where he crafted furniture for his children and grandchildren, designed the Irish American Club floats for the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade, and sang at various venues including the National Anthem at the Lake County Captain’s game. Andy was also an avid reader, a Jeopardy enthusiast, loved a round of golf with his friends and family, and truly enjoyed making everyone laugh.

Andy was the beloved husband of 60 years to Florence (nee Mitzo); loving father of Andrea Carlson (Ted), Mark Dolan (Kelly), Patricia Mason (Kevin), Jennifer Wetzel (Karl), and Ann Marie Martich (Tom); devoted ‘Papa’ of seventeen (Andrew, Audrey, and Anthony Dolan, Emma, Danny, and Nora Martich, Breann Mason-Short (Chad), Kayla Mason-Turkalj (Matt), Logan and the late Taylor Mason, John and Brittany Dzingeleski, Megan, Abby, and Chloe Carlson, and Jack and Luke Wetzel; great grandfather of Mason, Kamren, Kensley, Liam, and Leighton; brother to the late Gerald (Betty), Marie Dick (Alex), Daniel (Janet), and Ann Hegarty (Donald); dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Andy’s Life will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Painesville.
