Anna C. Takah (nee Fois)

Anna C. Takah (nee Fois), age 86 of Mentor, passed away December 28th, 2023 at Geauga Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born November 30th, 1937 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania to the late Michael and Kate Fois.

Anna retired from Parker Hannifin in Wickliffe after 30 years of service.

Anna enjoyed working in her yard and going to the casinos. She loved her family and her puppies.

Anna was the loving wife of the late Ernest A. Takah Sr.; beloved mother of Ernest A. Takah Jr. and Debbie (Joe Iacano) Takah and the late Kimberly (Robert) Lyon; dearest grandmother of Donny, William, Amy and Dana Lyon; great grandmother of Ian and Gage; dear friend of Jodie Naples; sister of Ruthanne (Kenny) Ross and many deceased brothers and sisters; aunt to many nieces and nephews.

The Takah family will receive family and friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Mentor Cemetery.

    To my wonderful sister I love very much. I will miss all our conversations. We spent lots of time on the phone but I will always remember you. Rest in piece your with the angels now.

  2. I will cherish my childhood memories of you on Parkway. Your home was my second home growing up. I’m so grateful I spent some time with you recently before Christmas. The love, support, and devotion from Debbie and Ernie I witnessed was so touching. Rest in Peace. ❤️🙏
