Anthony J. Meade, age 24, of Wickliffe, passed away September 11th, 2016.

Tony worked as a granite finisher for Bella Stone.

Tony loved nature, fishing, hiking and swimming. He enjoyed listening to the Grateful Dead. He was a beautiful person who was loved by his family and friends.

Tony is survived by his son: Vinny Raphael; mother: AnnMarie (Andy) Wilson; step-father: David Sass; sister: Amy Murphy; brother and best friend: Alex Sass; grandparents: James (Vicki) Young, Katherine (Roger) Engle and Judy Sass and the late Gary Sass; many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-7:30 PM Thursday at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 6330 Center Street, Mentor.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

  3. Anthony was my best friend. I loved him with all my heart. We went through everything together. we lived together for years. There’s not a day that goes by that I won’t think about him or the endless joy that he brought into my life. I’ll always love you brother. I’ll see you on the other side, because I know you’ll be waiting for me with 311 playing on the speaker and a shed for us to kick it in.

  13. I knew Anthony as a young man. ( friend of my children) in Wickliffe. He was such a spirited and happy guy. I will forever remember him coming over and saying hello and laughing and smiling as he ate pasta at my kitchen table. He was and is a light in the harbor
