Ashley Amber Aquila, age 29 of Lorain, formerly of Eastlake, passed away November 15th, 2023 at Mercy Lorain Hospital due to severe pneumonia. She was born February 18th, 1994 in Mayfield Hts., Ohio.
Ashley enjoyed working with animals, spending time with her family during the holidays, especially time with her beloved daughter.
Ashley is the loving mother of Delilah Grace Arabie; dearest daughter of Joseph (Carrie) Aquila Jr. and the late Denise Aquila; beloved sister of Mason Aquila; cherished granddaughter of Linda DiFrancesco and Joseph (Lillian) Aquila Sr.; devoted companion to Jon Scarvelli; niece and cousin to many; loving dog “Miracle”.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Ashley and I weren’t the closest growing up because we were in different circles, but I do remember her being very kind, loving and super genuine. This is a great loss and I’m sorry for her family who are going through this difficult time. My thoughts and love are with you guys.

I worked with Ashley for almost a year at meijer! She always brought a smile to my face! We always talked about our dogs and how much we wanted to take the time to just go on a walk together sometime with them. Unfortunately we never got to do that. We made each other laugh. It was my favorite part about being there at work with her. As with everyone else I worked with. I know she talked about her mom and her dogs so much. I will miss her so much! Condolences to her family and friends! She will be missed dearly!

I’ve known Ashley for about 8 years and love her dearly. I could never thank her enough for the kindness she has shown my grand children and their dad (Jonathan) over those years. I always looked forward to seeing her because no matter what mood i was in she was going to make me laugh . The love she had for people and her pets was something to be admired and I know that I will miss her greatly.💔

I am so saddened to hear of Ashley’s passing. I had only just met her at her mother’s memorial. I was struck by what an impressive young lady Ashley was as she organized such a beautiful memorial for her mother at such a young age and she handled it with such strength and grace. I know she will leave many dear love ones behind but I have solace knowing she will be with Denise in Heaven.
