Barbara Ellen Summers (nee Garrett), age 65 of South Euclid, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.

Devoted wife for 44 years of Jack; loving mother of Lisa (Loren) Summers, Sara (Bill) Hackman, Jack, Jill; loving grandmother of Garrett and Corin; daughter of the late Jesse and Mildred Garrett; sister of Linda (Cliff) Howanyk, James (Judy) Garrett and Robert (Gwen) Garrett; aunt of many.

Barb loved to cook, she loved watching over the students at Gesu School in University Hts. and she was a loving wife to her husband Jack.

Funeral Mass 10 AM Monday, October 31, 2016 at Church of the Gesu, 2470 Miramar Blvd., University Hts. VISITATION 2-4 AND 6-8 PM SUNDAY AT JEFF MONREAL FUNERAL HOME, 38001 EUCLID AVE., WILLOUGHBY.

Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Donations can be made to Ames Family Hospice, 30080 Hospice Way, Westlake OH 44145 or to Church of the Gesu.

    Dearest Jack,
    So very sorry. I remember Barb accepting me into your home and being so Fun and loving. I also remember you calling me after my mom passed away. It meant alot. Love you sweet cousin. Mary K

    So sorry Jack, I no she will be missed and when Maryann and I were little I remember Barb making the best crepes and only crepes we ever had she was the best. May the Lord Jesus Christ be with you at this time and always, Love Debbie Gerlosky
