    Mary and family,
It was an honor being in the right place and the right time at Lake West Hospital to give your brother the Sacraments of the Church and his Veteran’s blanket. What a brave and courageous brother Bill was for so many. Bill and your family are being remembered in my Mass this morning. Everyone continues to be in my personal prayers too. God’s peace and comfort be with you all.

I use the exercise room every morning and for a very long time Bill would stop in on his way to breakfast every morning and we would have a long enjoyable talk. He was special and I will miss him very much.

Bill always came down to breakfast, usually the first one there. We would talk about our shared interest in Bluegrass music, or the weather (the 3 D’s – drab, dark and drizzly). I will miss him, his compliments and and his sense of humor!
