Carmella Marie DiFrancesco (nee Genovese), age 93 of Euclid, peacefully passed away March 25th, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 23, 1928 in Cleveland, raised in Little Italy, to the late Benedetto and Bessie Genovese.
Carmella loved to cook a big family pasta dinner, reading, puzzles and growing wildflowers. She enjoyed helping others and especially loved spending time with her family and friends.
Carmella is the loving wife for 60 years to the late Emiddio S. DiFrancesco; beloved mother of Linda DiFrancesco, Sue (Doug–deceased) Baer, Michael DiFrancesco and Jim (Kim) DiFrancesco; dearest grandmother of Laura (Frank) Watkins, Renee (Nick) Sberna, Joey (Carrie) Aquila, Noel (Jemille) Cecil, Steven Baer, Janette (Mark) Kruse, Matt, Carla, John and Sherry DiFrancesco, Brad (Natalie), Nick (Stephanine), Anthony and Jimmy DiFrancesco; great grandmother of ten; great great grandmother of one; sister of the late Joseph, Richard, Nunzio and Anthony Genovese, Mary Scott, Rose Gawloski and Jenny Maggiano; aunt of many nieces and nephews.
All services are private.
Burial at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville.
