Carmine C. Denniston (nee Minadeo)

Carmine C. Denniston (nee Minadeo), age 84 of Eastlake, passed away June 26th, 2026 at home with her husband by her side. She was born September 24th, 1941 in Cleveland, OH to the late Charles and Jennie Minadeo.

Carmine graduated from Collinwood High School in Collinwood, Ohio. Carmine and Terry married on June 27th, 1964. She loved being a fulltime housewife and mother of two loving children, Kaley and Eric, and cherished being a grandmother. She enjoyed small vacations and a very simple way of life. She cherished all life and what it had to offer – good or bad. She looked for the good in everything. She enjoyed sitting outside, reading and watching the birds and watching people walking by. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Carmine was a long time (June 1970) member of St. Justin Martyr Church in Eastlake, Ohio. She was a member of the original RCIA team and served on many teams at St. Justin Martyr Church, including festivals, Halloween events, bake sales, indoor garage sales, etc. She loved creating and delivering prayer requests to homes for many years and was a devout Catholic putting Jesus first in everything she did.

Carmine was the loving wife and best friend for 62 years to W. Gregg “Terry” Denniston; beloved mother of Kaley M. Denniston and Eric W. Denniston; cherished grandmother of Eric A. Denniston, Alexis (Zack) Bevins, Grace Cutlip and Olivia; great grandmother of William John, Bailey, Vincent, and Quinn Bevins.

The Denniston family will receive family and friends from 11:00 AM – 12 Noon Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 at St. Justin Martyr Church, 35781 Stevens Blvd., Eastlake. A funeral mass will follow at 12:00 Noon Wednesday at the church. Burial at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home of Painesville.
