Dale “Scott” Thompson, age 58 of Willoughby, passed away January 7th, 2022 at LakeWest Medical Center. He was born January 6th, 1964 in Mantua, Ohio to Carolyn Thompson (nee Sasey) and the late Kenneth Thompson.

Dale loved riding his motorcycle, fishing, hunting and his CB radios. He loved his family more than anything else, especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Dale is the loving husband for 38 years to Lisa Thompson (nee Parkin); dearest father of Daniel (Cheryl) Thompson, Joshua (Becky) Thompson and Stacey Thompson; cherished grandfather of Jacob, Savannah, Madilyn, Sierra, McKenzie, Austin, Conner, Hudson and Charlotte; brother of Deborah (Robert) Silvernail and Steven (Stephanie) Thompson; grandson of the late Steve and Mary Sasey; nephew of the late Dick Thompson and Wayne Thompson; uncle to many.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal of Jeff Monreal Funeral Home.

  1. I’ve never laughed as hard and long and as often as when I’ve been with Dale, Dan and Josh. I call him “sir” out of respect. His character commands respect though humble and kind. I will miss him and remember him.

  5. Know this man as long as I’ve been alive. My uncle was and will always be remembered as a great man. Always had great times. Devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. You will be missed Uncle Dale. Love you.
