David Eric Hollis , age 65 most recently of Dublin, Ohio but for many years lived in Richmond and Columbia, Virginia, passed away September 1st, 2020. He was born December 2nd, 1954 in Cleveland to the late Dave and Constance.

Dave retired from the State of Virginia Correctional Enterprises.

Dave is the husband of Dorothy Louise Hollis; father of Annette (Jeff) Kramer and Sharon Zdesar; step father of Robert (Angela) Kurilko, David (Darci) Kurilko and the late Michelle (Jose) Kurilko; grandfather of Grayson and Dylan Kramer, Cooper and Mack Zdesar; step grandfather of David (Sam), Dustin (Brittany) and Devan Kurilko, Samantha and Michael (Kayla) Vega, Shawn, Conner and Riley Kurilko; brother of Jan (Gary) Markuz, Vicki (Joe) Kolasa, Connie (Andy) Smith and the late Mark Hollis; uncle of Erik Markuz.

Open visitation hours will be held at the Newell Creek Clubhouse (at 8181 Norton Parkway Mentor, Ohio 44060) from 1:00 – 3:30 PM on Sunday October 11th. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at 3:30 PM. Friends and family are welcome to attend, but we please ask that you respect social distancing and masks are mandatory. Light refreshments, snacks and dessert will be served.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
