Donna M. Thornton (nee Hess), age 65 of Painesville, passed away December 1st, 2022 at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord. She was born August 11th, 1957 in Cleveland to the late Fred and Rita Hess.
Donna enjoyed riding her Harley, meeting up with friends, traveling to Canada’s French River, fishing, and hiking. She loved spending time with family, especially her granddaughters Faith and Julie.
Donna is the loving mother of Kane (Rebecca) Thornton; cherished grandmother of Faith and Julie Thornton; beloved sister of Paul (Lynn) Hess, Al (Kathy) Hess and the late Dave Hess; aunt to many; devoted companion of Barry Hickerson; loving pet mom of Bubba.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Saturday, December 10th, 2022 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
