Edward S. Pekarcik Sr., age 72 of Concord Twp., passed away May 30th, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. He was born July 16th, 1950 in Cleveland to the late Steven Edward and Margaret Pekarcik.

Ed retired from Aitken Products in Geneva where he was a plant manager after 47 years of service.

Ed was an avid boater and fisherman. He was very handy and could build anything, he took pride in his yard. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Ed was the loving husband for 50 years to Lana L. Pekarcik (nee Graham); beloved father of Edward S. (Laura) Pekarcik Jr., Amy (Arnie Jr.) Hamilton and Jeffrey Pekarcik; dearest grandfather of many.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, June 2nd, 2023 at McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center Street, Mentor. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Donations can be made in Edward’s name to the Hospice of The Western Reserve  Hospice of the Western Reserve: Donate (onecause.com)
