Emily Ann Scigliano (nee Sankovich), age 71 of Mentor, formerly of Kirtland, passed away December 5th, 2022 at University Hospitals in Cleveland with her family by her side. Emily was born September 17th, 1951 in Cleveland to the late William and Eleanor Sankovich.
Emily graduated from Kirtland High School and attended Lakeland Community College where she earned her associates degree. Emily retired from the Willowick Police Department as a dispatcher after 32 years of dedicated service.
Emily was an extremely caring and loving person who would go out of her own way to do anything for anyone. Emily enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
Emily is the loving wife of 35 years to David J. Scigliano; beloved mother of Christopher J. (Cayla) Scigliano; dearest sister of Raymond (Yvonne) Sankovich; and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, December 9th, 2022 at McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center Street, Mentor. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 AM Saturday at St. John Vianney, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor. Burial at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home.

Emily was one the kindest and most beautiful souls I have ever met. She welcomed me into the family with her warm smile and I always looked forward to spending time with her at family gatherings. She will be dearly missed.
