Erik D. Quintillo, age 50 of Eastlake, passed away February 20th, 2024. He was born August 29th, 1973 in Willoughby.

Erik worked as a police officer at Painesville Police Department.

Erik was the loving husband of 24 years to Christine Quintillo (nee Hawke); dearest nephew of Margie Quintillo; beloved son in law of William and Carole Hawke; son of Nanci Cowles; brother of Jill (Ken) Rataczak and Kimberlee (Jon) Whitt; grandson of the late August and Jennie Quintillo.

Family and friends are welcome to celebrate the life of Erik from 4:00 – 6:30 PM Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 at The Abbey, 38011 Euclid Ave., Willoughby (located on the grounds of McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home). A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 PM Wednesday at the Abbey.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Erik was one of those rare individuals who always did his best, even when he was not feeling well. He was an excellent officer and will be missed. I am sorry for your loss. Prayers.
