Georgene A. Folk (nee Sattler), age 84 of Eastlake, passed away January 7, 2019 at Symphony at Mentor surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cleveland Hts. to the late George and Marie Sattler.

Georgene was a homemaker who loved spending time with her grandchildren and family and playing cards. She was a parishioner of St. Justin Martyr Church in Eastlake.

She was the loving wife of the late Dale Folk; mother of Dan (Jacquie), Keith, Steve and Russ; grandmother of Erika, Abby, Spencer and Zack; sister of the late Glenn Sattler, Lois Hutchinson and Ronald Sattler.

The family will receive friends at 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM Saturday, January 12, 2019 at St. Gabriel Church, 9925 Johnny Cake Ridge Rd., Concord.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30 PM Saturday at St. Gabriel Church. Private burial at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.

Donations can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 East 185th Street, Cleveland 44119.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Services.

    My sincere condolences to the entire family. I have great memories of her. She made some great breakfasts for us after we “camped out” in the back yard shed overnight.
